Hi, I’m Michelle.
I’m a professional facialist with over ten years of hands on experience working with real skin. I am also a skincare formulator and the founder of Groom.
Groom was created to make skincare personal again. After years of treating clients, I saw how often skin was overwhelmed by too many products, too many steps, and unrealistic promises. Skin changes with stress, hormones, seasons and lifestyle, so skincare needs to adapt too. My focus has always been long term skin health, not quick fixes.
Every treatment I offer is shaped around the skin in front of me at that moment. I believe skin confidence starts with understanding, which is why education is always part of what I do. At Groom, clients receive honest advice, expert treatment and a welcoming space where they feel listened to.
One of the things that makes Groom different is that I formulate my own skincare range in house. I create and blend the products myself using carefully selected plant based ingredients chosen for their purpose, safety and performance. Each formula is developed to support the skin barrier and work with the skin rather than against it. My philosophy is simple, skincare should be powered by nature and guided by science.
The Groom skincare range is designed to keep routines simple and effective. The collection includes The Everything Cleanser, The Everything Serum and The Everything Balm. These three multi use essentials are handmade and designed to support healthy skin every day without overwhelming it. Each product is made to do more with less.
You may also have heard about the 'Talking Facial'. This is a signature Groom treatment that allows space for both skin and emotional wellbeing. As a trained CBT practitioner, I am able to gently integrate therapeutic techniques into facial treatments where appropriate. I also offer CBT sessions separately in person and online for those who wish to explore this further.
